Session Cookies and Permanent Cookies
Some of the devices which are used on The Green’s website are used for the current session only i.e. to recognise returning users. This means that the cookie will expire when your session finishes. Others are permanent cookies, which will be stored on your computer and will be used to recognise you as a user, the next time you visit the site.
Broadly, you can block cookies by activating the setting on your browser which allows you to refuse the setting of cookies. The steps below explain how to do this for each browser type.
